The Connecting One

The s: 211 DA roof exit combines functional performance with architectural clarity. Its generous all-glass surface, with the outer pane fully covering the sash profile, creates a calm, elegant opening in the roof. It. integrates naturally into both modern and historic buildings.  When closed, the access reads as an almost invisible plane that is walkable, precisely detailed, and seamlessly integrated into the terrace or roofscape.
At the touch of a bottom, the sash opens smoothly and automatically, creating an intuitive transition to outdoor spaces, whether for roof terraces, maintenance routes, or private retreats. Inside, the slim internal framing maximises daylight, keeping  the space below open and expansive. Each s: 211 DA is individually developed for its specific project, resulting in a roof exit that does more than provide access: it becomes a deliberately designed architectural element, which is quiet, unobtrusive and confidently expressive.

Installation & Roof Integration
  • Seamless, flush integration into the roof surface.
  • Optional full recessing into the terrace floor (with walk-on surface certified according to DIN 18008-6).
Operation
  • Fully automatic opening mechanism with an opening angle of up to 88°, depending on the drive technology.
  • Manual wall switch control
  • Available with concealed side-mounted actuators or visible spindle drives

Glazing

  • Insulating glass
  • Safety glazing compliant with DIN 18008-6 for walk-on applications
Materials & Insulation
  • Frame available anodised or powder-coated (RAL/NCS/custom colours)
  • Insulation made from recycled PET — durable and high-quality
  • The Uw value of the window depends on its size and glazing and can be as low as 0.9 W/m²K. With double or triple insulating glazing, U-values down to 0.5 W/m²K as well as g-values of up to 20% are possible.
